In this video, Chris Tisdell constructs a parallelogram, given a side AB and a point C. He uses a circle arc template and a straightedge to do so.
He first constructs a line segment that joins point C with A. He then constructs a line that is parallel to AB and passes through the point C. Finally, he constructs a line that is parallel to AC and passes through the point D. Together, the pairs of line segments form a parallelogram.
